Rural Water supply and sanitation projects
- Comprehensive Drinking Water and Sanitation Projects of Kerala Rural Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation agency, funded by World Bank since 1999. These projects are comprehensive projects covering water supply, sanitation, watershed, drainage, environmental sanitation, hygiene education, skill development and income generating schemes. The project's implementation and future maintenance is done by Beneficiary Groups. Maithri was the Supporting Organization for one of the five pilot Panchayats. The project was subsequently implemented in five Grama Panchayats in viz: Erimayur, Kozhinjampara and Muthalamada in Palakkad district and Vettom and Thazhekode in Malappuram district
- Another project in Muthalamada Grama Panchayat, known as Muthalamada Tribal Development plan with a special emphasis on tribal population was implemented under this scheme
- The Netherlands Embassy funded Jeevadhara Project, through the Socio Economic Unit Foundation (SEUF) is for providing drinking water and sanitation facilities in Mankulam Grama Panchayat in Idukki District for which Maithri acted as the Empowerment Agency
